01 / THE CHALLENGE

Where the pressure started.

Supply chain ran on one cloud, CRM on another, ERP on premises. Every executive dashboard depended on an ageing analytics backend where refreshes were slow and failures frequent. Data volumes kept growing and leadership had no appetite for a single day of wrong or missing numbers.

02 / WHAT WE DID

Designed for the real operating environment.

  • Designed a central data lake on OCI Object Storage with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) as the curated serving layer.
  • Built ingestion and orchestration pipelines using OCI Data Integration to bring data in from Oracle EBS, Salesforce, distributor and supply chain systems.
  • Used OCI Data Flow (managed Spark) to process big-data workloads at scale — daily supply chain telemetry, distributor sell-out and consumer signals.
  • Repointed the existing Power BI datasets to ADW through a secure Power BI Enterprise Gateway, without changing a single report, visual or KPI definition.
  • Ran the old and new platforms in parallel and reconciled every KPI across the two backends before cutover, with business sign-off.
